I am using BackerKit, so they will be sending surveys that may ask for your address and email again. Apologies, it's my first time using them but supposedly they make things easier to handle.
The book is ready for digital transmission, so BackerKit will take care of that, hopefully this weekend once surveys are completed. Then the hard copies should be ready and delivered in 2-3 weeks.
Just in time for the campaign for RIOT EARP 2 to begin! Stay tuned!
We're THIIIIIIIIS close to going to print

Howdy, RIOT-ers. We are THIIIIIIIS close to being ready for distribution. I expect the book to be done this weekend. That means that the digital copy will be sent immediately to all who ordered it. The print version will hopefully take just a couple weeks from the printer and be sent directly to you with all add-ons you ordered.
Some of you ordered commissions from Fred Benes and Darryl Banks. Please make sure you told me who you want, either through one of the surveys so far or one of the direct emails I sent to you. We don't want to hold up the distribution of your purchases. I also need the surveys so I can announce the winners of the two prizes.
On the subject of surveys, I am using BackerKit to help distribute PDFs and print materials, and I believe they will have their own survey for you. If they ask you for the same information you already gave me, I apologize. I just want to make sure we have everyone's responses, and everyone's current addresses. So keep an eye out for anything from BackerKit.
RIOT EARP #2 is on target for a July release, and it will have some guest stars who will PSYCH you out. Dule Hill and James Roday Rodriguez were kind enough to give permission to use their likenesses, and they are in guest-starring roles. A portion of profits will go to Dule's and James' favorite charities, too!

Everything is moving forward for RIOT EARP #1. I will be using BackerKit to assist me in shipping everything, so you may receive a survey from BackerKit instead of Kickstarter. They may ask for your email or address again, so make sure I get it one way or another so I can send you everything you are supposed to get.
Last week I sent out surveys to people who pledged for original art commissions. If you haven't seen these surveys, make sure I know what characters you would like Fred Benes or Darryl Banks to draw for you. Be as specific as possible just in case!

Thank you, everyone who pledged to the project. We broke our stretch goals of 150 backers and $4,000, so everyone who pledged a package including prints gets an extra print, and we will have the winners of the two sweepstakes once Kickstarter collects funding. To that end, please make sure your credit cards on file are up to date! Kickstarter will collect funds shortly.
As for the book itself, it is almost completely put together (the letterer is finalizing it for the printer). As soon as it is done, we will be shipping it to the printer for (supposedly) a two week printing turnaround plus an extra week to ship the books to you. As an extra thank you, I expect to cut your shipping costs in half. The PDF will be emailed as soon as it is ready.
Anyone whose pledge includes a commission by Fred Benes or Darryl Banks will be asked what character they want their sketch to be of (it can be anyone at all, not just from RIOT EARP). The artists will turn those around as soon as they can, but I want to ship everything together to save you postage, so please give us an extra week or two for delivery just in case.
In July we will run the second RIOT EARP Kickstarter campaign. I want to give everyone time to enjoy issue 1 so you know you'll be getting a good book with issue 2 as well. I'll try to have different reward tiers next time around. Plus the book will "star" the lead actors from the TV show PSYCH, Dule Hill and James Roday Rodriguez, who were nice enough to lend their likenesses to the project. A portion of all profits from issue 2 will go to Dule's and James's favorite charities!
